On December 14, the nomination of “Queridos Papás” for the Latin Rose D’Or Awards was announced.
The Rose d’Or Awards celebrate excellence in the creation of international television and audio programs. In its inaugural edition, the awards are presented as a competition aimed at rewarding content exclusively in Portuguese and Spanish.
Adapted from the Argentinian original “Sres. Papis”, “Queridos Papás” is currently being broadcast on TVI. Adapted by Maria João Mira and directed by Manuel Amaro da Costa, the telenovela produced by Plural Entertainemnt includes Pedro Sousa, José Fidalgo, Tiago Teotónio Pereira, Fernando Pires, Paulo Pires, Sara Prata, Helena Isabel, São José Correia and many other actors.
“Queridos Papás” is the only Portuguese product nominated for the Rose D’Or Latino Awards and is in direct competition with telenovelas from the United States, Chile, Brazil and Colombia.
This nomination once again highlights the quality of Plural Entertainment Portugal’s products, which have been making a growing and consistent name for themselves on the international scene.
The awards ceremony will be held in Miami on January 23, 2024.
