The lead actors Inês Castel-Branco and Diogo Morgado, together with Francisco Antunez (Project Director), André Ramalho (Writer), José Eduardo Moniz (TVI General Director), Piet-Hein Bakker (Plural Managing Director), and Margarida Vitória Pereira (TVI Director of International Programming), attended the International Emmy Awards ceremony, which took place on Monday, November 20, in New York.
Para Sempre was nominated for the Best Telenovela award, which was ultimately presented to the Turkish production Yargı. Two of Portugal’s victories at the International Emmy Awards for Best Telenovela were awarded to stories produced by Plural and broadcast on TVI: Meu Amor in 2010 and Ouro Verde in 2018.
The entire cast and crew are to be congratulated on this nomination, which once again proves the international recognition of our projects.
