The story is concentrated in the city of Itacaré, in the state of Bahia, including the protagonist “Cacau”, a young chocolate maker who lives on a farm with her Portuguese parents.
Starting on September 17, part of the cast and crew will shoot for 9 days on the famous cocoa farms and paradisiacal beaches, revealing the lush nature and rich heritage of the region, along with a gripping and emotional story.

This is Plural’s return to major international projects. The last one was “Prisoner”, shot in 2019 in Tunisia.
