Filming began this week on A Madrasta, TVI’s major new fiction production. Produced by Plural Entertainment, the series is an adaptation by writer Maria João Mira, starring Inês Castel-Branco and Albano Jerónimo. The actor returns to the Queluz de Baixo network ten years after the success of Santa Bárbara.
The star-studded cast also includes Matilde Reymão, Isabel Abreu, João Maneira, Pedro Teixeira, Sílvia Rizzo and Inês Herédia, among others.
Production got underway across studios and outdoor locations, with intense scenes bringing to life a story that spans Portugal and Morocco.
