Inaugurated in October 2011, the Quinta dos Melos Studios mark 15 years of operation, establishing themselves as a key hub for television content production in Portugal.
Organised by Plural Entertainment and TVI, the milestone was celebrated with a special live broadcast, “Cidade dos Sonhos”, a festive programme that set the stage for the opening of the new complex. The event brought together several actors, well-known TVI personalities and musical performances by artists associated with the soundtracks that have accompanied audiences over the years.
Created to bring all recording operations together in a single, state-of-the-art location, Quinta dos Melos Studios have served as the setting for countless soap operas, drama series and entertainment formats broadcast to audiences at home.
The complex currently houses eight studios dedicated exclusively to the production and recording of fiction and entertainment content.
Behind every project is the daily work of actors, directors, technicians and production teams, whose passion brings new stories and characters to life.
Over the years, the “Cidade dos Sonhos” has followed the evolution of Portuguese television drama, hosting productions that have become part of everyday life in Portugal.
Fifteen years after its inauguration, the Plural Entertainment complex reaffirms its position as a leading facility in the industry, where creativity, innovation and collaboration continue to drive the success of productions past, present and future.
