Filming of Cacau comes to an end after eight months. This telenovela marked Plural’s return to major international productions and, currently airing on TVI, is winning over the Portuguese audience with its captivating story.
Edgard Miranda, project director of Cacau, returned to Portugal to take on this challenge and shares his reflections after eight months of work:
“In thirty-six years of my career, sixteen of them at Globo and seventeen at Record, I never imagined I would work on a project as challenging and passionate as this one. A partnership between writer and director like I’ve never seen before, and unprecedented support from the production company (Plural). Success in every sense. I feel immense gratitude for having been part of this amazing team.”
This finale also brings to all the members of the teams who made this telenovela possible the certainty of the outstanding quality of the production. We bid farewell to the entire cast and crew with a feeling of a mission accomplished, and it will certainly be a “see you soon” for everyone!
